18th February 2015 Published by

barmouth-beach-kidsThere’s a lot to do in beautiful Barmouth, but sometimes it can be hard on a family holiday to make sure that there is enough fun and engaging activities for the kids to do each day. Here are some ideas for things to do to keep the kids entertained throughout your stay at Barmouth Bay.

Bendi-gedig
If you have younger kids and need a place for indoor play on those days when the weather isn’t on your side, then Bendi-gedig is the choice for you. It features fantastic supervised indoor soft play areas, and a family café with great, healthy food to enjoy. While the kids are having fun, you can relax with a coffee, make use of the free wi-fi, and not even have to worry about parking costs because it’s all free!

Barmouth Beach

A stone’s throw from our own park, this beautiful, mile-long sandy beach offers an amazing family day out on any day that the elements are on your side. Hit the Blue Flag Beach section, and the kids can enjoy trampolines and bouncy castles in the summer. Nearby there is also candyfloss, donkey rides and countless beautiful spots to set out a rug and enjoy a family picnic. Remind the kids not to forget their buckets and spades!

Barmouth Bay — the park itself!

You don’t even have to go anywhere as far as the beach to enjoy family fun. On our park, we have a heated indoor children’s play pool, exciting walking trails and cycling routes, as well as an outdoor adventure playground for them to burn off their energy. Keeping kids active during the holidays is important, which is why we make sure there’s always plenty on offer!
