Whilst North Wales has the amazing backdrop of Snowdonia and fantastic unspoilt beaches for you to enjoy – there are lots of other benefits and attractions of holidaying at Barmouth Bay.
With Summer approaching, Festival season is now upon us, and what a fabulous choice of events the area has to offer.
North Wales Bluegrass Music Festival
Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th July
Takes place over four days in Conwy, international Bluegrass bands from America, Europe and Britain play eight concerts, offer tuition and host workshops, a must for those who appreciate a good ‘hoedown!’
Friday 10th – Sunday 12th July
Is a major festival attracting over 20,000 people to the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. And it’s not just about the music, although with acts such as Tom O’Dell, John Newman, Razorlight and Clean Bandit, there is plenty of variety to keep you entertained, but the festival also attracts the best wakeboarding talent in the world, making this a highlight in any watersport fan’s calendar!
The Big Cheese Festival
Friday 24th – Sunday 26th July
A fantastic family festival held in the shadow of Caerphilly Castle. The Big Cheese plays host to an extravaganza of street entertainers, musicians, folk dancers, with a traditional funfair, minstrels, falconry and so much more on offer! This is a free event with 80,000 people expected to join in the fun!
Green Man Festival
Thursday 20th – Sunday 23rd August
A festival for all, featuring music, comedy, literature and film with a fabulous choice of food and drink, all set in the breath-taking Brecon Beacons.
