We love to make our guests happy – and one thing we now know that makes them very happy is being able to bring their four legged friends with them when they holiday – because they’re family too, right? We’re able to offer value accommodation to guests wishing to bring their dogs, and charge £30 per break, per dog. You are also welcome to bring your dog Touring & Camping, £1 per dog, per night. Up to a maximum of two dogs are allowed per accommodation unit or per caravan and camping pitch. All dogs must always wear a collar and identity tag and be kept on a lead and under the control of a responsible adult at all times.
Pick up the poo!
We know its not the best job in the world, but in order to maintain the general up-keep of our Parks – and avoid our guests discomfort by treading in anything nasty! – we do ask that you clean up after your dogs and place any doggy doo in the bins provided. We can provide dog poo bags free of charge, just pop over to guest services for you holiday supply!
We also ask that dogs are not be left in accommodation unattended, unfortunately dogs are not allowed inside any facility buildings and swimming pool areas due to hygiene. However these restrictions are not applicable to guide dogs. Away Resorts reserve the right to require owners of any dog considered a nuisance, or to be interfering with the general comfort of our guests, to remove it from the Park, but we’re sure this won’t happen if they’re kept an eye on!
Unfortunately certain types of dog are not allowed on Park, in order to maintain the safety and well being of all our guests. These include, but are not restricted to, Pitbull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasiliero and Japanese Tosa and other dogs as described on the Dangerous Dogs Act. Dogs that are also legally required to be muzzled are not allowed due to safety and comfort of our guests.
