Barmouth Bay is a fabulous base for many exciting treks and activities in the Snowdonia area, but if you just want to settle down and relax on park then we have some great facilities for you to enjoy.

With direct access to the worlds largest outdoor pool (the sea) and our luxuriously warm indoor pool, we have something whatever the weather.
So, whether you’re dusting off your walking boots and taking the dog for some hill-conquering climbs, splashing in the waves, or simply laying down your towel for a spot of sunbathing, the best of land, sea and sand are all yours for the taking at Barmouth Bay.

What's on park?
Indoor heated pool
We pride Barmouth Bay on our large, heated indoor swimming pool, the large pool is also fully equipped with a children’s play pool so they can splash away to their hearts’ content.

Multi-use sports court, hiking, biking and lots more are all here at Barmouth to fill your day.

Adventure playground
Snowdonia Castle Play Park is our exciting kid's outdoor playground. From swing bridges and slides to lookout posts and climb walls, our fantastic playground will be sure delight and astound our younger guests!

The beach
With direct access to Barmouth Beach, we know you won’t be able to resist a visit. The miles of beautiful unbroken sand invites visitors from all over but luckily never seems to get overcrowded. A real picturesque moments caught between the sea and mountains!

Take a lookPool Terms of Use & Ratios
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools are subject to seasonal opening times and pool rules, which must be adhered to by all Guests. Please check with Guest Services upon arrival at the Park for details of opening times during your stay and applicable pool rules. The supervision of children on the Park is the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times, including in swimming pool and changing areas. For swimming, children aged 0-3 years old must be accompanied by a responsible person in the same body of water on a one to one basis. A maximum of two children aged 4-7 years old must be accompanied by a responsible person in the same body of water. Children over 8 years of age who are competent swimmers (can swim unaided 25m or more) can use the pool independently provided there is a lifeguard present. For Barmouth Bay, the pool is not lifeguarded, therefore one responsible person must supervise a maximum of three children aged 8-15 years old in the same body of water.
