Important Information

Following the Government’s announcement yesterday regarding social gatherings of more than six people becoming illegal in England from next Monday, September 14th, we wanted to update you on the stance that Away Resorts is taking.
At present, the guidance says two households of any size are allowed to meet indoors or outdoors, or up to six people from different households outdoors and Away Resorts has followed that protocol.

However, in the wake of the new guidance, with effect from Monday September 14th, the following will apply:

  • Gatherings are allowed, provided they are socially distanced, but only in groups of up to six
  • The rule applies to all ages
  • The rule applies both indoors (holiday home accommodation and venues) and outdoors
  • Households and support bubbles bigger than six can socialise together – but not with anyone else at the same time
  • Our bars and restaurants will continue to admit more than six customers inside, but groups of six will have to be socially distant from each other.

In addition to these new measures, we continue to create the safest possible environment by ensuring all our team wear appropriate PPE, ensuring all customers wear masks on entry to facilities, ensuring social distancing is being adhered to and undertaking rigorous cleaning and hygiene procedures.

If you have booked with us as a party or group of more than 6 people, please ensure you are following this Government advice. If you would like to give us a call on 01442 508 850 to discuss options (Mon to Fri 9am – 7pm, Sat to Sun 10am – 6pm). We will be happy to move your booking to a future date*

Kind Regards

Your Away Resorts Team

*Subject to availability. If the cost of the future booking is less, then we will refund the difference. If the cost of the booking is more, than you will be expected to pay the difference.

COVID19 – Keeping You Safe

There are many bodies we have been working with and taking advice from during this period, including and not limited to:

  • The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974

All our team members have completed additional COVID-19 training that will help protect them and you. From the additional risk assessments, cleaning of key spaces on the park, having a clear desk policy, to wearing appropriate PPE when required.

In line with government advice, we are required to capture the information of everyone that will be visiting park including private sublets. This is to aid the government Test & Trace service, and for your own safety.
