British Superbike Championship 201420th August 2014
Summer is in full swing, and its time to enjoy the many special events across the UK that come with it. Tattershall Lakes and nearby Louth are no exceptions to the rule. August Bank Holiday weekend promises to be one of thrills and spills, as Cadwell Park prepares itself for the British Superbike Championships. The circuit is well known for hosting the event, among others, with its 2.2 miles of track being tackled by countless biking legends over the track’s 80-year history.
Cadwell Park is something of a sacred ground for superbike fans, and has been dubbed the “mini-Nurburgring” by its regulars. Qualifying for British Superbikes will take place on August 24th, and the race itself on Bank Holiday Monday, the 25th. What’s more, Tattershall Lakes has lots of great deals for accommodation that weekend, so you can make us your perfect base to get to the race while also enjoying the peace, quiet and beauty of the Lincolnshire countryside.
The great facilities, accommodation and activities at Tattershall Lakes will make it a Bank Holiday Weekend you’ll never forget. Arrive on Friday to enjoy some good food and entertainment from our in-house crew, and then wake up refreshed on Saturday for a day of fishing, watersports, or even a pampering in our spa. If you’re not going to the qualifying round on Sunday, then stay with us a little longer and relax, or get off the park and explore the wonders around us, like the historic city of Lincoln with its stunning cathedral and streets stepped in heritage.
Many of you die-hard bike fans will already have purchased your tickets for the big event on Monday, but in case you haven’t, you can get more information by clicking here. You can also get more information on the track and race by clicking here.
