Dog Friendly Holidays….18th September 2014
One of the best things about Tattershall Lakes is the vast selection of paths there are to discover around the park. Dogs and their owners will love taking brisk walks amongst the park, around the local area and even the sea if you decide to drive off park.
Talking of the sea…. pack a picnic, grab a blanket and head down to Ingoldmells South or Moggs Eye beach where your pet can walk, run, jump, fetch and enjoy frolicking in the sea at its own freedom. Don’t forget to take that all-important pooch selfie with the breath-taking beach backdrop.
Come on holiday with us and you will discover we tick all the boxes to make sure you have the perfect lakeside escape. To add to your relaxing holiday experience we thought we would give some great ideas on how you and your dog can make the most out of your holiday.
- Head down to the lovely dog friendly park opposite the park and have a game of Frisbee.
- Whilst exploring one of the many paths in the local area why not take an evening stroll up hill and watch the sun set.
- If you both love the water then try out a new way to enjoy the nearby sea’s off the park with a bit of paddle boarding or kayaking.
- Make a new doggy friend with the other adorable pets on and off park
If that’s not enough there are many great attractions where dogs are welcome but must be on a lead. Such as Cleethorpes Boating Lake And Discovery Centre, Gainsthorpe Medieval Village, Bolingbroke Castle and Thornton Abbey and Gatehouse.
We also welcome dogs on our touring and camping pitches for just £1 per dog per night during low season and £3 per dog per night during peak season. As much as we love all dogs we only allow a maximum of two per pitch and value accommodation. Please ensure your pets have a collar and identity tag and are kept on a lead under the control of a responsible adult at all times.
