View More: the Summer holidays now in full swing, we’re please to welcome all our guests to Tattershall Lakes! We’ve got some fantastic entertainment and activities on site but there is also loads going on in the local area, we’ve put together a few suggestions that you might want to see!

Lords, Knights and Ladies Day at Tattershall Castle: 22nd August

Tattershall Castle is a magnificent 15th century red-brick Castle, it was one of the first of its kind in England, it also happens to be just across the road from us, which makes it the perfect place to visit! With a host of things to do from re-enactments and open air theatre to exciting activities, including a Lord, Knights and Ladies Day where you can try your hand at being one of the aforementioned, with a fun trail, themed children’s crafts, and face painting it’s a great day out for all.

Steampunk Festival: 29th-31st August

Playing host to the largest steampunk festival in the World, Lincoln Castle has a weekend of imagination, creatively and fun planned, where the Victorian past meets a future that never was. Thousands of splendidly dressed participants will enjoy shows, demonstrations, talks and silliness, with parades, music, displays and a selection of steampunk stalls. So why not dress up and join in or just go along and enjoy the fun?

With extreme rides and coasters to test thrillseekers’ nerves, and a great variety of family-friendly attractions, including loads designed just for the little ones, this is the ultimate destination for the whole family. Tattersall Farm Park

Keep the children entertained at this friendly family attraction linking fun and farming. Inside plays barns, outside play areas, a 25m zip wire, sand pits and picnic areas, as well as a whole host of farm animals, many of whom can be seem on the new outdoor animal trail. Lots to do and you can stay all day, whatever the weather!
