The Spitfire Bar will be hosting entertainment with a difference; with live shows streamed from another location, kids entertainment and music, all displayed on the big screen. We will also be hosting character photo spots for the kids to meet Bear, Scratch and Lucy (from a distance of course).

If you like the theatre, you’ll love the shows by our very talented Away Resorts Theatre Company and musicians. We’ll be streaming up to 3 shows a week on the big screen in the Spitfire and other selected screens. Shows include our pantomime Aladdin, Electric Dreams, Shake, Rattle & Rockdown and the Great Movie Ride.
Another streamin’ favourite is our resident guitarist Glen Tortolano. Join Glen & Guests every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday with regular guests, featured acts and great music.
The Away Resorts Theatre Company presents pop-up street theatre with short burst happenings and musical routines around the park. Our street theatre can be safely watched from a distance, with no audience participation or responses, just good ol’ fashioned street performances.
We have four showings a week currently running on our outdoor cinema screens; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday! Our entertainments team will be there to ensure social distancing is being adhered to so you can safely grab a seat and sit with your family.
Bingo is back and will be on twice every evening from 5:45pm. Tickets will be available to purchase in the Spitfire Bar between 5:15pm-5:30pm and 6:30-6:45pm.
We’ll have plenty of entertainment for the kids too, from live stream shows to character photo spots to meet the Bear in the Woods gang (from a distance of course.)
Enjoy our NEW for 2020 children’s live streamed show, PLAY Home! Exclusive to Away Resorts, meet the Play Go gang and sing-a-long as we entertain you with story time, jokes in the jungle, science experiments and new dance routines! Keep a look out for some familiar faces from our entertainment teams on park as we provide your little ones with a morning of fun!
Every day we’ll have the gang ready for photo opportunities with the kids. We have introduced a way for your kids to have their photo taken with Bear, Lucy and Scratch at a safe distance.
The friends from Bear in the Woods love to come out to play in their own shows, which will be streaming on the big screen in the Spitfire Bar 3 times a week. Kids (and even parents) will find themselves dancing along to toe-tapping tunes and enchanted with wonderful fun-filled stories.
