Glamp it up at Bestival on the Isle of Wight20th June 2013
Enjoy some creature comforts at Whitecliff Bay’s own festival field
Bestival on the Isle of Wight signals the end of the summer festival season for 2013, with headline acts over the weekend of September 5th-8th, including Elton John and his band, Snoop Dogg, Franz Ferdinand, Rudimental and lots more!
If you are heading over to the island for the festival but don’t fancy camping in a field with thousands of other people, then you can ‘glamp it up’ at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park just down the road from the festival site.
In keeping with the festival feel, Whitecliff Bay has created the Magic Loungeabout, an area for guests, who just want to chill out with a drink and some laid-back summer tunes.
With bean bags and hay bales to relax on and a bar made out of apple crates, along with free Wi-Fi, guests will be able to soak up a festival-like atmosphere without the mud – and the crowds.
Whitecliff Bay’s Canvas Village comprises 15 Bell Tents (sleeps four) and one Canvas Cottage (sleeps eight) already made up with lovely interiors, beds, heaters, TVs and stylish furnishings.
The park also has its very own secluded beach.
Away Resorts managing director Carl Castledine says: “Whitecliff Bay is very near to the Bestival site, and every year, many festival goers choose to swap the cramped festival conditions for the luxury of our park just down the road, while still enjoying all the bands. It is the perfect option for festival goers who want to enjoy the music but are not too keen on completely immersing themselves into the full festival experience.
