Porth Kidney Beach
Porth Kidney is just a 49 minute drive away from Retallack Resort. The beach is around a mile long, with a low tide the sea goes out leaving a large area of deserted sand. A wonderful walk at this beautiful beach followed by a stunning spot to stop and enjoy a delicious picnic with the family (and the dog) on a warm day.
St Nectan's Waterfall
Just a 42 minute drive away from Retallack Resort, join us at Cornwall's most unspoilt hidden green corners at St Nectan's Waterfall. Explore natural beauty at it's finest and enjoy stunning waterfalls and woodland walks with the family and beloved pooch too. Stop for a picnic or visit the cafe during your visit for a sweet treat too..
Trelissick Gardens
Just a 36 minute drive away from Retallack Resort is Trelissick estate which boasts a country house and woodland walks. As well as the gardens, you can take the waterside walk, reached by going down the field to a small beach. There are many spots to soak up the views and plenty of space to enjoy a picnic with the family!
Dog friendly areas:
Porth Kidney Beach: Yes, all year with no restrictions.
St Nectan's Waterfall: Yes, well behaved dogs are allowed on lead in the woodland area & by the waterfall.
Trelissick Gardens: The estate outside the garden has woodland walks for your dog. Access to the garden is assistance dogs only.
