Frequently Asked Questions

Which UK resorts offer dog-friendly May half-term holidays?

Away Resorts parks roll out the welcome mat for your furry friends. Beachside holiday parks are perfect for long walks, sandy paws on beaches, and even some sneaky treats. Just remember to pack a spare towel, and your pooch will be just as spoiled as the rest of the family on our dog-friendly holidays.

Are May half-term holidays suitable for toddlers and young children?

From toddlers taking their first steps into the play area to kids perfecting cannonballs in the swimming pool, Away Resorts has you covered. From on-site entertainment to family-friendly activities and splash zones, there’s plenty of hands-on fun to keep little ones busy. But if half-term crowds aren’t your pace, we get it. Why not explore walks and trails nearby.

What activities are available at Away Resorts during May half-term?

With indoor and outdoor pools, adventure trails, on-site entertainment and seasonal shows, there are plenty of activities for big and little kids to blow off some steam. Our parks are designed to be kid-friendly, so grown-ups can supervise from a sun lounger or join in the fun (we won’t tell).

Which UK regions are best for a beach May half-term holiday?

Cornwall and Dorset have beaches that scream “paddle your worries away,” while the Isle of Wight is perfect for calm beaches and scenic walks. Many of our Away Resorts holiday parks are just a stone’s throw from the sand, so pack the buckets and spades!
