FAQs about Cornwall Holiday

Is Cornwall a good location for a holiday?

Cornwall is full of beautiful landscapes, stunning beaches, and fantastic attractions, meaning it’s the ultimate destination to suit all kinds of getaways. And with Away Resorts offering the perfect accommodation, it is the perfect location for a UK holiday.

What is the best part of Cornwall to stay in?

With a range of places to stay in both North and South Cornwall, you’ll be spoilt for choice! The best place to stay depends on what you desire from your Cornwall holiday — whether that’s the thrill of a city break, or the calm of the coast.

We’d recommend to book a stay at our Newquay Bay Resort, if you’re wanting a fun-filled adventure that combines the best of the city, countryside and seaside. For a more rural location, enjoy the peace and quiet of our Newperran Resort.

Our resorts come with a variety of features and facilities, so why not check out our St Ives Bay resort or Bude holiday resort to find the best location for you.

How many days I should stay in Cornwall?

To truly make the most of the beautiful holiday destination of Cornwall, you need at least 3 days to enjoy the towns, natural landscapes and historic sites that this region has to offer. Of course, the longer the stay, the more opportunities you have to explore different parts of Cornwall.

What is the prettiest part of Cornwall?

There are plenty of idyllic and glorious areas to explore with a Cornwall holiday, it’s hard to define just one as the most beautiful.

The Lizard Peninsular is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where you can take in the breath-taking views of the Kynance Cove. Known for its unusual coloured rocks, the dark red and green gloriously contrast the cove’s white sandy beach.
If you’re staying in the far west of Cornwall, you’ll find the picturesque Porthcurno beach, arguably the most romantic place in the UK. The golden sands and glittering waters compliment a landscape of rugged cliff, where you’ll also find the unique Minnack open-air theatre.
