Poole Harbour is a harbour in Dorset closed to the town of Poole. Poole Harbour is Europe's largest natural habour in a stunning location, with spectacular views and scenery closeby. From watersports activities to coastal walks, there is plenty to do when visiting the harbour for a day out in Dorset. 

The harbour is also a site of nature conservation, with a number of conservation protections in place. Just a short distance away from the harbour is the Poole Marine Conservation Area, featuring 10 different types of habitat and over 360 marine species. The conservation area provides protection from the harmful activities taking place, allowing the wildlife in the area to thrive without damage.

How to get to Poole Harbour

The M5 motorway is a recommended route for visitors travelling via car from the west (via Bristol) and west of the country (Devon and Cornwall).

The M1 and M40 are also recommended for visitors travelling from the Midlands and the North, connecting to the M25 and M3, before continuing on the M27 and A31 following directions to Poole.
