About Weymouth Beach

Weymouth Beach is a beautiful sandy beach overlooked by a magnificent Georgian seafront. Attracting thousands of visitors each year, the gentle sloping seabed and stunning waters of the sheltered bay make the beach the ideal location for swimmers, bathers and water sports enthusiasts.

With a number of attractions nearby such as children's rides and pedalo hire opportunities, there's something for everyone when visiting Weymouth Beach. Plus, the beach can be used to host to a variety of events throughout the year - so be sure to research what's on before your visit!

How to get to Weymouth Beach

If arriving via car you will be able to use the park and ride at Mount Pleasant. Costs range from £1.50 per vehicle in low season to £3.50 per vehicle in peak season. Please see Dorset Council website for more details including operating times and journey details.
