Our 60-Day money back guarantee is available to new customers who purchase a new or used holiday home directly from the Away Resorts group on or after 2nd June 2025.
How to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel under this guarantee, a written request (in person, by post or by email) must be submitted to the General Manager of the relevant holiday park within 60 calendar days of the handover date. If submitted by first-class post, cancellation will be deemed effective from the first working day after posting, provided proof of posting is retained.
Eligibility Criteria
This guarantee applies only where cancellation is due to one or more of the following:
• A genuine material product defect affecting the condition or functionality of the holiday home, which was reported in writing and which we have not been able to rectify in a reasonable period of time.
• Below-par service expectations where reasonable standards of customer care or park services have demonstrably not been met and a formal complaint has been raised during the ownership period.
• A genuine, provable change in personal circumstances, such as serious illness, financial hardship or significant family events, supported by appropriate evidence.
Refund Process
Upon receiving your cancellation request, the General Manager will contact you to confirm the details and initiate the refund process. Any refund provided will be subject to the following deductions:
• A fair monetary value representing your use of the holiday park and holiday home during the ownership period;
• The cost of repairing any damage, breakages, or excessive wear and tear to the holiday home or park facilities;
• The value of any promotional benefits (e.g. welcome packs, discounts or free site fees) or sublet income already received during the period of ownership; and
• Any cancellation fees, early repayment charges, or administrative costs relating to the termination of any finance agreement or purchase agreement.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method where possible and processed within 30 days of confirmation of eligibility.
If you have a finance agreement with one of our panel of lenders, you are responsible for cancelling this with them.
Exclusions
This guarantee does not apply to:
• Holiday home purchases involving part exchange.
• Modular homes or brick-built accommodation.
• Holiday homes purchased for commercial investment or subletting
Limitations
The Away Resorts group accepts no liability for non-receipt of cancellation requests. Customers are strongly advised to retain proof of postage or use a recorded delivery method.
This guarantee may be amended, suspended, or withdrawn by the Away Resorts group at any time without prior notice. However, any such changes will not affect rights already accrued under the guarantee.
This guarantee may only be used once per customer and per holiday home purchase.
