About Monkey World
The Monkey World Rescue Centre has been helping governments around the globe to stop the smuggling of primates from the wild since its opening in 1987.
At the Centre, experienced Primate Care Staff work tirelessly to monitor and rehabilitate the rescued primates with the aim to allow them to lead full, active, and happy lives again.
There are currently over 22 different species of primate at the park, with over 260 primates to be cared for.
How to get to Monkey World
Monkey World is located on the A31 Between Bere Regis and Wool in Dorset. If visiting by car, please use the postcode BH20 6HH. You will find brown tourist signs to follow for “Monkey World” at multiple sites within a few miles radius to the park.
