Where can I fill in my details for Track & Trace for my upcoming stay?

In line with government advice, we are required to capture the information of everyone that will be visiting park including private sublets. This is to aid the government Test & Trace service, and for your own safety.

How do I book activities?

Activities can be booked in advance during peak times on our online system (Sandy Balls, Tattershall Lakes and Whitecliff Bay only).

Please be aware, whilst our facilities are open at reduced capacity due to government restrictions, bookable sessions will subsequently operate on a limited capacity to comply with social distancing measures and therefore, availability is not guaranteed.

I have booked privately and want to book activities, how do I do this?

If you have booked privately at Tattershall Lakes, Sandy Balls or Whitecliff Bay, you can book activities online below. Please use your pitch number and road name as the booking reference.

I’ve booked privately, how can I access the app?

The Away Resorts App is for exclusive use of Away Resorts guests only.

Can I book bikes, the pools and activities if I’m not staying on park?

Unfortunately at this time, our facilities are only open to our guests and owners.

Can I have family/friends visit me for the day while I am staying on park?

Unfortunately at this time, we are unable to allow this to ensure we do not exceed our maximum capacity, as advised by the government.

Can we use cash in the shop?

We are requesting that all payments on park at this current time are contactless.

Do I need to book swimming slots for those just wanting to sunbathe / spectate?

Yes – every individual wishing to enter the space within the Lakeside Lido needs a booking slot; this allows us to control capacity at all times for social distancing measures to be adhered to.

I want to sit outside to eat – what options do I have?

Unfortunately we are not currently doing table service outside, only app orders for food only – which only direct bookers can access. If you are a private booker, you can sit inside and eat or order takeaway for collection at Propeller and eat outside.

Where is my dog allowed on park?

Once you are on park, you will see signage that guides where you can and can not go with your dog. Dogs are not allowed in our adventure playground, sports court, beach or Lakeside Lido.

What restaurants can I take my dog to?

Dogs are allowed in the lower area and outside area of the Spitfire Bar.

Do I need to include children in my restaurant bookings?

Yes, please include the exact number of individuals being seated for your reservation.

What is the telephone number for takeaway from the Propeller Bar & Kitchen?

To order takeaway, please call The Propeller on 01526 348 816.

How can I book bike hire and how much is it?

All guests wishing to hire bikes can do so by visiting Leisure Services on park.

Is the gym open?

At the moment, our gym remains closed for your own safety due to the current situation.

Is the spa open?

At the moment, our spa remains closed for your own safety due to the current situation.

How do I book Jet Ski’s?

This facility is run by a third party. Please contact them directly for bookings at www.158performance.co.uk

How do I book the Aqua Park or Water Sports?

This facility is run by a third party. Please contact them directly for bookings at www.tattershallwaterpark.co.uk.

The only time available for the pool/restaurant/splash pad is not suitable for my group, is it fully booked for the other slots?

Our online booking system displays all live availability and slots, you will only be able to book times that are appearing on the system for your group.

Can I book a table at Bar 49, The Spitfire or The Giggling Goose?

These facilities operate on a first come, first served basis. They do not operate on a booking system.

How much is it to bring dogs?

We’re able to offer pet friendly units to guests wishing to bring their dogs, and charge from £35 per short break (5 nights and under) and £55 per long break (6 nights or more), per dog. You are also welcome to bring your dog touring & camping, £2 per dog, per night at Whitecliff Bay, or during a stay in a Safari Tent at Tattershall Lakes.

Up to a maximum of two dogs are allowed per accommodation unit or per caravan and camping pitch. You can find out more about our dog friendly holidays by clicking the link.

Why are you closing/removing touring from Tattershall Lakes?

Whilst touring has always been a popular option we have also seen a steady jump in our occupancies for static holiday homes; that demand is now out-growing the volume of accommodation we have available for our guests. We will therefore be building exciting new holiday homes and accommodation types such as lodges on the touring field.

Do you have children’s menus in the restaurant and pub?

Yes, for the latest selection of children’s food available please visit your preferred parks’ Food and Drink page.

Can I hire a high chair?

Yes you can hire a highchair for  £12 during your online booking. Please note this is only available to guests who have booked directly with Away Resorts.

Can I hire a travel cot and does it come with bedding?

Yes you can hire a travel cot for £15 and add it to your online booking when booking directly with Away Resorts. Please note cot linen is not provided as most parents prefer to bring their own.

Can I fit a travel cot in my accommodation?

This will depend on the accommodation but caravans can usually only fit travel cots in the lounge area. Lodges can fit travel cots in the double bedroom but can be very tight though they can be placed in the twin bedroom but a bed will have to be removed. Please call 0330 053 7000 to find out more about fitting a travel cot in your accommodation type and arranging them to be fitted.

Are the shower and toilet blocks heated?

Yes, our facilities are heated and maintained to a high standard.

Are the shower and toilet blocks open 24 hours?

Yes, our facilities are open 24 hours per day. They are regularly cleaned throughout this period by our team on site who follow strict cleaning guidelines and procedures.

What facilities require an excess charge?

All facilities require an excess charge excluding the swimming pool, sauna and steam room, access to the bar and restaurant, adventure playground, splash pad, entertainment every night which are all included within your guest passes and holiday price when booking directly with Away Resorts. Private guests will require guest passes to access the facilities.

How deep is the water in the beach area?

The beach water is 0.5 metres deep.

How much is fishing?

You must purchase a fishing ticket online before you hook, line and sinker.

You will also require a UK Rod License and a fishing pass to fish on park. Please note, fishing passes do not include rod hire. Fishing passes can be purchased online in advance here. Further information on fishing can be found here.

How much are water sports?

Is there anywhere I can buy bait on park

Located next to the Merlin Complex at the heart of the park you will find Tom’s Tackle Shop.

Can I swim in the lakes?

Unfortunately due healthy and safety regulations; at no point should you or your group/party/children swim in the lakes.

Do you have a hoist in the swimming pool?

We do have a hoist in our Tattershall Lakes pool – we require 30 minutes notice if the hoist is required.

Do you have park WiFi?

We have WiFi hotspots at Tattershall Lakes, Whitecliff Bay, Mersea Island and Barmouth Bay.

WiFi is limited at Sandy Balls and Mill Rythe where WiFi is only available in the complex (or Village Square at Sandy Balls.)

There is a free WiFi option which offers unlimited data but limited speed which you can connect as many devices as you want to it. Due to the limited speed, this is better used for casual internet browsing, Facebook and Twitter and checking emails. It is not recommended for HD video streaming, video games and downloading of large files.

We also offer a Premium WiFi option (excluding Sandy Balls & Mill Rythe) which boasts higher speeds. The options are:

To connect to the park WiFi, simply log into the Guest Network and following the on-screen prompts to register your device. If any troubles with connecting please check with the park’s reception who will be more than happy to assist.

What entertainment is on during my holiday?

We’re excited to announce that Sandy Balls, Tattershall Lakes & Whitecliff Bay is still be able to offer activities and entertainment – with a few added precautions of course.

Instead of live performances, The Woodside Suite will be hosting live shows streamed from another location, kids entertainment and music. Not to mention our Outdoor Cinema showing will be running two showings a week too!

Our team have also been trained in hosting activities in a way where we can remain covid-safe and still have plenty of fun – with favourites returning such as target archery, crazy carts and more!

How much do guest passes cost?

Guests Passes are included in the cost of your holiday when booking directly with us. This provides access to the selected park facilities, entertainment*, experiences and more. We charge for certain activities as we want you to have the very best experience and by paying a little, we can enhance activities a lot!
 
For those who book with third parties, guest passes can be purchased at the park’s reception. Prices are dependent on duration and time of year. If you choose to let through our subletting scheme, then prices will be reduced.

How do I book?

There are two ways to book a holiday. You can either book online via our website or alternatively you can call us on 0330 053 7000.

Can I come and stay any night?

Any day arrivals are NOW available ALL YEAR! Yes, that’s peak dates too. Arrive when you want and leave when you want. All we ask is that you stay for a minimum of 2 nights, but apart from that, you can stay as long or as short as you like.

What’s included in my break?

Along with your accommodation, Guest Passes are all included in the break’s price and provides everyone in your party full use of our on-park facilities and evening entertainment (where available)! Certain activities and services may also carry additional charges. Please note, at this time we cannot guarantee access to all facilities even with passes due to social distancing and safety assurances.

Can you get to Tattershall Lakes by public transport?

The nearest station is Metheringham. From here you just need to jump on a number 5 bus to Boston which stops in Tattershall town, about 10 minutes walk from the park.
