Your questions answered on holiday home ownership at Barmouth Bay

Questions about holiday home ownership at Barmouth Bay

Buying a static caravan or lodge with us is a big investment and will certainly come with a lot of important questions.

The best way to get your questions answered is to arrange a park visit and speak to someone on park, but we’ve done our best to provide the frequently asked questions related to holiday home ownership.

How quickly can I move in after I have purchased?

We know that you will want to be in your new holiday home that same day, so rest assured we will do our best to get you in as quickly as possible. If the holiday home is on the park and you have paid in full, the longest wait will be 14 days, but generally it’s quicker. If the holiday home is new from the manufacturer we can only prepare your new holiday home once it arrives, but we will keep you updated along the way.

How long is the park open?

You will be able to use your holiday home 10 1/2 months of the year, from 1st March – 10th January, with many exciting and enjoyable things to do throughout. By far, most holiday home owners use the park between Easter and mid November but the choice is yours.

Will my holiday home be covered by a warranty?

All holiday homes purchased from us are covered by a very comprehensive 3 year warranty+. Find out more.

Can you help me get finance?

Yes. Because the companies we work with specialise in providing finance for holiday homes, they have tailored their plans specifically to your needs. There is no need to attend a personal interview or to complete complicated proposal forms. In fact, your Ownership Advisor will complete all of the documentation with you. We can offer guaranteed finance, some terms and conditions apply but we will talk about these. Also, unlike a high street bank who may require the loan to be secured on your home, specialised providers only take security on your holiday home.

Do I have to pay extra to use the facilities on the park?

Well, apart from those pesky one armed bandits and pool tables which you have to pay for when you use them, the other facilities are available for you to enjoy and are included in your pitch fees. Some extra activities carry a small charge.

How long will the park tour take?

This can take as long or as little time as you like, we like to show you everything but it’s your day! Why not make it a fun family day out? We can provide you with activity passes so you can get an even better feel of what the park is all about.
