This involves listing your property for rent through Away Resorts' booking system, where they manage the marketing, bookings, and guest services on your behalf. You can monitor your property's availability and bookings in real-time via their online owners' portal, making it easy to plan personal stays around guest bookings.

Guaranteed letting income

If you’re looking for peace of mind, our guaranteed rental income option might be just what you need. Here’s how it works: 

  • Enjoy a fixed yearly income for two years,* no matter how many bookings are made. 
  • Choose your own dates to use your holiday home- we’ll let it for the rest! 
  • Relax knowing exactly what you’ll earn, making your ownership journey completely stress-free. 
  • This option is perfect if you prefer a predictable income and a hands-off approach to subletting.

Managed sublet service

If you’d rather earn based on demand, you can opt for our managed sublet service, which offers a variable return depending on bookings. Here’s what we do for you: 

  • Maximise your income by marketing your holiday home to holidaymakers. 
  • Handle everything from guest bookings and check-ins to cleaning and maintenance. 
  • Ensure every guest has a wonderful stay while you enjoy complete peace of mind. 
  • This flexible option is great for those who want to benefit from high-demand periods. 
  • This applies to holiday homes up to 7 years old.

Can’t decide? You don’t have to! With Away Resorts, you can mix and match throughout the year- enjoy guaranteed income for stability during some weeks, and the others using our managed subletting for flexibility when it suits you. It’s all about creating the perfect balance that works for you. 

Private Subletting

Subletting your holiday home yourself means you take full control of the rental process- managing guest bookings, coordinating cleaning, handling key handovers, and arranging pass purchases so your guests can access the on-park facilities.

This gives you greater flexibility and the potential for higher earnings, but also comes with added responsibilities. Please note that private subletting is only permitted at select locations and is subject to the terms of your pitch licence agreement. We recommend contacting us directly to confirm availability and requirements for your park.

Preparing to Sublet 

If we’re managing your subletting, just provide your full inventory and the dates your holiday home is available via the owners’ portal. Drop off a set of keys at Guest Services, then relax and leave everything else to us - handling bookings, cleaning, guest arrivals, and more.

Your Requirements – what we need from you

  • Grading & Acceptance - We’ll run some checks such as age, size and condition on your holiday home to make sure it’s eligible to let. Once it’s been inspected you’ll receive an approval from the team.
  • The Inventory Required and Checks - You can purchase an inventory pack directly from us with everything you’ll need! We’ll also do all the relevant checks and make sure you have the appropriate fire extinguishers, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms.
  • Dates & Paperwork - Decide the dates you want to keep and those you want to give us to let. Fill in the forms and return these to the park team. We’ll then start letting! 

Sublet FAQs

Do I need to provide crockery, utensils, and bedding if I choose to sublet?

We have a grading scheme we use when letting our holiday homes to holidaymakers. It helps them decide what accommodation and inclusions they want.  

Each resort offers an inventory pack that you can purchase directly from us. That way, if things go missing or get broken, we’re able to replace this easily for you.  

Can I still stay in my holiday home while subletting with Away Resorts?

Yes, you can still stay in your holiday home while subletting with Away Resorts. You’re in control of your calendar - just block out the dates you want to use it through the owners’ portal, and we’ll only accept guest bookings around your availability. It’s flexible and works around you. 

I am on Sublet but want to upgrade my holiday home is this possible?

Yes, absolutely! If you're currently on the sublet scheme and want to upgrade your holiday home, it’s definitely possible. Just speak to your Holiday Home Sales Advisor or the park team - they’ll guide you through the upgrade process, explain your options, and help make the switch as smooth as possible, including transferring your subletting arrangements where applicable. 

What if something breaks during subletting my holiday home?  

We have a Sublet Repair Plan you can sign up to! This is for accidental damage caused by an Away Resorts guest. This covers replacement of inventory items and repairs up to the value of £250. You are required to have insurance in place, and we advise you also have cover to include sublet damage. If your holiday home insurance is with Leisure Days, you can contact them and ask them to add an endorsement to your policy at no extra charge. 

Do you manage hot tub cleaning if I have one?  

You can be assured that whilst your holiday home is being sublet through us, Away Resorts will manage your hot tub within strict guidelines, set out by Away Resorts and external third parties. The safety of all our guests is of our utmost Importance.  

How often do I receive payment if I go on Managed Sublet?  

You will receive monthly statements at the end of the following month, telling you exactly what you have earned which can be offset against your running costs, or can be withdrawn if your account remains in credit.
