  • Fishing Lake: The largest lake on-site, stretching over 15 acres with more than 30 pegs where you’ll find Carp, Tench, Bream, Pike and Roach.

How to make the most out of holiday parks with fishing lakes

The best holiday parks with fishing lakes aren’t just home to fish (duh!). For the perfect fishing holiday, here are our top tips on how to make the most out of your stay:

  • Book a lakeside lodge: Lakeside accommodation is the perfect way to enjoy the beauty of the lake, even when you’re not out casting. Top tip: To soak away those sore arms after a long day of fishing, book a holiday lodge with a hot tub!

  • Pack for comfort (and success): As all seasoned fishermen know, even in the summer, the weather can turn. It’s best to pack for the elements, so bring a warm blanket, a comfy portable chair, and keep a flask of hot tea handy.

  • Balance fishing with family time: Fishing is fun, but don’t miss out on the chance to explore the other entertainment and facilities your park has to offer with your family. If the kids love the lakes but find fishing boring (we could never), take a break from catching fish and try out on-site watersports.
