When can I arrive, and when do I leave?

Standard check-in is 4pm, or 2:30pm if you’ve booked Exclusive accommodation. Check-out is 10am, except at Clumber Park where check-out is 9:30am. Staying at Retallack or The Bay Filey? Check-in is 4pm for all grades.

What goodies are in my accommodation?

Your accommodation includes the essentials to help you get started: a tea towel, dishcloth, bin bag, recycling bag and mini washing-up liquid. If your accommodation has a dishwasher, a couple of dishwasher tablets are included too. You’ll also get one toilet roll per toilet, plus a spare in the main bathroom.

Will a travel cot fit in my accommodation?

This depends on the accommodation. Caravans can usually only fit travel cots in the lounge area. Lodges can fit travel cots in the double bedroom, but space can be tight; they can also be placed in the twin bedroom, although a bed may need to be removed or lifted onto its side. Please call 0330 053 7000 to check your accommodation type and arrange a travel cot.

Is linen included in my accommodation?

Fresh bedding and linen come as standard in Away Resorts accommodation, excluding St Ives Glamping Pods and touring. If you have booked through Sun Holidays, you’ll need to hire linen separately; details will be on your confirmation.

Towels are included in Luxury, Indulgent and Exclusive accommodation. If you need to add towels to your booking, call our Holiday Heroes on 01442 506202 and they can arrange this for a small charge. Towels are not provided at Moffat Manor, and at The Bay Filey they are only included in Exclusive and Indulgent grades.

Will I have allocated parking?

We can’t promise a space right outside your accommodation, but there will always be parking close by. If you book Exclusive accommodation, you’ll get one allocated parking space, except at The Bay Filey.

Does my accommodation have an outdoor seating area and outdoor furniture?

All Luxury and above accommodation comes with a patio or decking area, plus outdoor furniture.

Will my accommodation have a hot tub?

Many Away Resorts accommodations have hot tubs. Look out for the hot tub symbol when browsing accommodation.

Will my hot tub be ready to use on check-in?

Every hot tub is drained, cleaned and refilled between guests. It might not be fully up to temperature when you first arrive, but it should be ready to use by the evening.

Is there WiFi in my accommodation?

Some accommodation has WiFi. Please contact our Holiday Heroes and they can help confirm what is available for your accommodation. All parks have WiFi hotspots in common areas, and full coverage is being rolled out across all parks by the end of 2026.

Are your parks dog friendly?

Yes, dogs are welcome at Away Resorts. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs per accommodation, and they’ll even get their own goody bag on arrival. Dogs must not be left unattended in the accommodation at any time.

Are your venues dog friendly?

Most Away Resorts venues are dog friendly or have a dedicated dog-friendly area, and some even have their own doggy menu. Swimming pools and some activities are the exception.

How do I book activities?

Download the Away Resorts app at https://www.awayresorts.co.uk/discover/app. The app is available once your holiday is paid in full and within 12 weeks of travel. Most activities open for booking 21 days before arrival, and popular activities can book up quickly.

What if I need to make a change to my booking?

Please call our Holiday Heroes on 01442 506202. They’ll do everything they can to help with your booking change.

I need to make a payment.

The easiest way to make a payment is online at https://www.awayresorts.co.uk/. You can make as many payments towards your holiday as you like, as long as the full balance is paid 10 weeks before your holiday start date. We don’t send payment reminders, so it’s worth adding a note to your calendar.
