Easter Traditions….21st March 2014
With Easter soon approaching we thought it would be a great idea to let our customers know what they can get up to during the holidays whilst staying in the Easter spirit. Although eating lots of chocolate eggs and enjoying a day off is what we call “bliss”. Why not add to your Easter experience this year and get involved in some brilliant Easter traditions for the whole family to enjoy.
The Easter Egg Hunt
Similar to a treasure hunt, why not keep the kids entertained and hide some yummy chocolate eggs around the house as they try to solve the mystery of the hidden egg. Try not to make the clues too hard to figure out though!
Another traditional sporting event is a bit of egg rolling, yep that’s right! Children and adults can enjoy brightly decorating a boiled egg then roll it down the highest hill you can find. A great little family competitive sport.
Get creative and have some quality arts and crafts time with each other. Making Easter cards together is a great way to time pass and keeping the kids inspired plus some of the most cherished cards are the ones made from scratch.
There’s nothing like getting the little ones around you in the kitchen and getting a little messy for fun! The traditional Easter biscuit is made from spices, currants and some grated lemon.
Finally yet importantly to end the Easter traditions nothing says quality family time then sitting around the table and tucking into a heart-warming delicious roast lamb dinner with all the trimmings!
To top off your Easter experience what better way to enjoy all the above than at Mill Rythe! There are lots of places to hide the eggs and plenty of arts and crafts. Or why not have a go at some of our brilliant activities, have a splash in the swimming pool or a play a spot of golf – it does not get better than this.
