To ensure our guests all get an opportunity to book activities and experiences, we have implemented a 21-day advance booking, including swimming slots. Please note to make sure you get the best enhanced experience a charge will apply on some of our activities.
We do our best to provide a great programme for all, however please note our activities and entertainment offering is seasonal, runs during selected months only and is subject to change. Please check our Seasonal Opening Times for more information.
Please note: All under 13s must be accompanied by an adult at all times and under 5s must have 1:1 supervision.
How to book
You can book your activities online (or via the Away Resorts app). You will be able select your preferred date and time subject to availability.

Drive-In Cinema
Come along and create your very own car to sit in whilst watching our family together cinema that afternoon. Using a cardboard box as the shell of your car, paper plates for headlights & a steering wheel and your name on the number plate, you'll spend quality time together making your vehicle before 'driving in' before sitting in your brand new car to watch the film 'cars'.

Creature Hotels/Bug Hunt
Join our Forest Ranger for a special look into the wildlife around the forest whilst taking part in one of our amazing woodland activities! Look out for creepy crawlies and learn to build a hotel for all sorts of creatures and species of the forest. One large shelter will be made during this session but earn valuable Ranger skills to take away with you, so you can build one of your very own at home. Our build can shelter anything from hedgehogs to toads, Solitary bees to bumblebees and ladybirds to woodlice.

In this activity we will be using our imagination in different ways with nature. We will go on a walk around the park collecting twigs, brambles, petals, leaves, branches, moss, pinecones and such items where we will begin to create 'nature paintbrushes' and think of different ways we can use the nature to create our masterpieces!

Catapult Building
Using basic materials your team will design and create a large working catapult in the Sandy Balls Forest. Then take part in multiple challenges firing different projectiles including the dreaded 'wet sponge' challenge! Great fun for all the family!

Woodland Survival
Join our Forest Ranger for a special look into the wildlife around the forest whilst, taking part in one of our amazing woodland activities! Learn the basics of how to survive in dense woodland with limited materials, discover how to build a shelter to keep you warm and dry then learn how, with a basic survival tool, you can create one of the most essential lifesaving things - a fire.
All participants must book a space on the session. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Caching
Forest Caching is an outdoor adventure taking you through our picturesque forest. You must navigate to that area then search amongst the trees for a luminous yellow letter. Once you have found all 9 letters all you have to do is unjumble the word and return to the start to collect your certificate.
For best results we recommend downloading and using google maps, though apple maps works too. Input your co-ordinates into the search bar of your maps and a pin will pop up. Price is for as many people wishing to take part. This is an unsupervised activity.

Zumba
Zumba is an aerobic fitness class that features movements inspired by several styles of Latin American dance such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton and many more! Your Zumba instructor will have you shimmying, laughing and sweating (although we say sparkling!), as we shake our way to feeling great. Easy to follow and something for everyone but remember, we promise exercise has never been so much fun!
