Barmouth Bay is more than a spectacular holiday park, by now you know that we have the most beautiful beach on the door step, brilliant activity playgrounds and a relaxing swimming pool
But did you know we have some superb activities and attractions of the park as well? Just to make your stay that bit more memorable, below is a list of the exciting things you can go see and enjoy. Plus they are all in an easy accessible location with a short drive from the park.
- King Arthur’s Labyrinth: This labyrinth is hidden deep in the mountains of Southern Snowdonia, steeped with the most adventurous and mysterious stories this is a brilliant day out for the whole family.
- Llanfair Slate Caverns: Just a 15 minute drive from the park, have a fun day exploring 100 years of man-made tunnels that were formed with just a candle light. As you come out of the caverns you are greeted with the most breathtaking view of Cardigan Bay.
- Go Ape!: As suggested in the name, go crazy and enjoy yourself as you leap cross tree tops, go zip wiring over the stunning scenery and have a whole day of thrilling adventure and it’s only a 20 minute drive from the park. A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Snowdonia.
- The Animalarium: This attraction is slightly further away from the park but is worth the one hour drive. This zoo is home of the unwanted animals and exotic pets such as: squirrel monkeys, lynx’s, caiman’s, beavers, capuchins, iguanas, tortoises and many more. Included in your entry fee are spectacular reptile shows, crocodile, owl and cat feeding, meerkat encounters and even a bunny grooming section.
