Here are some of Barmouth Bay’s most commonly asked questions. If you feel that none of the below answer your questions please use the search bar or alternatively you can contact us and we will get back to you soon as possible.
We’re able to offer several accommodation options to guests wishing to bring their dogs, and charge from £30 per break, per dog. You are also welcome to bring your dog touring & camping, £1 per dog, per night at Tattershall Lakes and Whitecliff Bay.
At Sandy Balls, dogs are priced from £35 per break, per dog. For Touring & Camping our dog prices range during low season and peak season. Dog prices for Cornfield Camping during 3 – 31 August are £4 per dog, per night. You can view our full doggy price list below for Touring & Camping.

Up to a maximum of two dogs are allowed per accommodation unit or per caravan and camping pitch.

Yes you can hire a highchair for £12 during your online booking.
Yes you can hire a travel cot for £15 and add it to your online booking. Please note cot linen is not provided as most parents prefer to bring their own.
This will depend on the accommodation but caravans can usually only fit travel cots in the lounge area. Lodges can fit travel cots in the double bedroom but can be very tight though they can be placed in the twin bedroom but a bed will have to be removed. Please call 01442 508850 to find out more about fitting a travel cot in your accommodation type and arranging them to be fitted.
Please ensure you have showered before and after using the Hot Tub. This will remove oils, creams, lotions, make up, tans etc, which will seriously affect he water quality if not removed. Please also use the toilet before entering the Hot Tub.
It is also important you take care when entering or exiting the Hot Tub. Please use the bath mat provided and please be aware decking can become slippery when wet. Please replace the lid after use.
And do not immerse your head or swallow the water – this can increase the risk of infection.

Our touring and camping breaks are only available at our Whitecliff Bay, Isle of Wight and Tattershall Lakes, Lincolnshire locations. Click here to find out more.
All our Guest Services are open from 9am – 6pm.
In the winter periods the hours reduce from 9am – 5pm
Mill Rythe by Away Resorts is open from 9am – 7pm every day.
We have WiFi hotspots at all of our parks excluding Mill Rythe and Mersea Island where WiFi is only available in the complex. WiFi is also unavailable at our 8 berth, 3 bedroom lodges at Sandy Balls.
There is a free WiFi option which offers unlimited data but limited speed which you can connect as many devices as you want to it. Due to the limited speed, this is better used for casual internet browsing, Facebook and Twitter and checking emails. It is not recommended for HD video streaming, video games and downloading of large files.
We also offer a Premium WiFi options which boasts higher speeds. The options are:
To connect to the park WiFi, simply log into the Guest Network and following the on-screen prompts to register your device. If any troubles with connecting please check with the park’s reception who will be more than happy to assist.
Entertainment can vary by park and date. Tattershall Lakes, Mill Rythe and Whitecliff Bay offers evening entertainment for most of the year. You can view the entertainment by park by clicking on the park links. Mersea Island offers limited entertainment with weekend cabaret acts. Barmouth Bay currently does not offer evening entertainment but does have a nearby entertainment complex at the entrance of the park.
A full entertainment guide will be provided on arrival at the selected parks.
Entertainment Passes are included in the cost of your holiday when booking directly with us. This provides access to the selected park facilities, evening entertainment*, PLAY activities and more. We charge for certain activities as we want you to have the very best experience and by paying a little, we can enhance activities a lot!
For those who book with third parties, entertainment passes can be purchased at the park’s reception. Prices are dependent on duration and time of year:
3-4 nights in a 6 berth – £35
3-4 nights 8 berth – £45
7 nights 6 berth – £69

These prices are for the caravan party, not per person.
There are two ways to book a holiday. You can either book online via our website or alternatively you can call us on 01442 508850.
We now have Any Day Arrivals available at all of our self-catering parks up until March 31st 2017. After this date it is important to note that all breaks across all our parks work on a three night minimum from Friday, four nights from Monday or seven nights from Friday, Saturday or Monday only. (includes Glamping)
This rule does not apply for Touring & Camping, you may come and stay whenever you like.
Along with your accommodation, Entertainment Passes are all included in the break’s price and provides everyone in your party full use of our on-park facilities and evening entertainment (if provided) with at least one free activity a day as well! Certain activities and services may also carry additional charges.

Bike hire is available directly on park for Mill Rythe and Tattershall Lakes only.
However, Barmouth Bay and Whitecliff Bay have bike hire facilities nearby. Please pop in to the Guest Services, they would be more than happy to help you arrange this.
The closest train station to Barmouth Bay Holiday Park is Talybont Railway Station, only a 5 minute walk to the park. You will find that majority of trains coming from England will depart from Birmingham New Street Station or Shewsbury Station.
Please make sure you stay refreshed on your journey and have plenty to eat on your travels, it takes a while but definitely worth it!
Activities can be booked in advance during peak times on our new online system (Mill Rythe, Tattershall Lakes Whitecliff Bay only). Or alternatively can be booked on the day of your arrival up to an hour before the activity at Guest Services for Barmouth Bay(Summer holidays only), Whitecliff Bay and Mill Rythe or the Sports and Leisure center for Tattershall Lakes. Please note activities do get booked up quickly during busy periods, so please book as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
We welcome dogs at Whitecliff Bay, Tattershall Lakes, Barmouth Bay and Mersea Island in our Value grade accommodation. Or of course, on our touring and camping areas. Restricted to two dogs per accommodation/pitch. Dogs listed on the dangerous dog acts unfortunately are not welcome, please see our terms and conditions.
Our park is open from March up until December. Throughout November and December our indoor heated swimming pool will open with limited hours.
Barmouth Bay is lucky enough to still have their swimming pool facility open up mid December.
