Explore Off The Park….24th March 2015
Now that Spring has arrived we at Tattershall Lakes have looked at what attractions are on offer locally to amuse and entertain our guests during the Easter period. We’ve made some suggestions that you might like to check out, we hope these will keep you busy and add to your overall holiday experience – once you’ve managed to tear yourself away from all we have to offer at Tattershall Lakes itself of course!
Tattershall Castle – Cadbury Easter Egg Trail
Friday 3 to Monday 6 April 2015
Explore the castle, spot the clues and claim your chocolate prize with our family friendly Easter trail. Lord Cromwell of Tattershall Castle calls for assistance! Are you a famous Eggsplorer? Are you good at finding things? If the answer is yes then come to Tattershall during the Easter Weekend. Explore the keep and grounds, spot the clues and be rewarded with a Cadbury’s chocolate Egg. The trail takes place around the grounds and inside the castle. Access to the castle via a spiral staircase with 149 steps.
Forget following the white rabbit, and follow the Wragby rabbit to a mysterious maze that seems to have sprung straight from the pages of Carroll’s classic, Alice in Wonderland. Enter the Queen of Hearts domain at the Wragby Maze and get lost among the hedge maze and conifer characters; you can even try your hand at croquet and see if you’re better than Alice was. With a picnic area and garden games to enjoy, Wragby Maze offers families of all ages a great day out over the school holidays.
Thursday 2 April – Monday 6 April 2015
Easter Egg Hunt all weekend. Baking Demonstrations on Good Friday & Easter Saturday.
However it’s not all Easter hunts and eggs, if you feel like you can’t take any more chocolate (urmmm never!) here are a few attractions that will still be filled with fun for a great family day out! Don’t forget that our incredible Holiday Heroes at Guest Services are always there to help you.
