Half Term Breaks at Tattershall Lakes 201415th September 2014
The kids are barely back to school, but before you know it the half term holidays will be upon you and you’ll have to think of something to occupy your kids and keep them active for the whole week! With the summer sun faded away, the temptation is strong to let them just stay indoors to play computer games, but as we know there is always something more active that they can be doing. Let Tattershall Lakes help you with your decision making, by offering up a fun and great-value alternative.
This half term, from October 24th, we are offering a very special three-night weekend break in one of our Value Caravans (sleeps up to six people), for just £161. Even if the kids have been a little lazy through the week, they’re sure to keep active on a break here at Tattershall. And while they’re off burning off that excess energy, you can take it easy with a relaxing spa treatment, or even just let off some steam yourself with a good workout in our gym.
Late October might not be your favorite time of year to try a lot of the sports and outdoors activities on offer at Tattershall. If that’s the case, then why not take some time to get off the park and explore some more of Lincolnshire, including its ancient capital of Lincoln. On that particular weekend, the city is hosting its 12th annual Lincolnshire Sausage Festival at Lincoln Castle. This event is the perfect way to learn more about and enjoy on of the county’s most famous and celebrated local product. Entry is free and the event runs from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Sunday, October 26th brings something a little different to Lincoln’s calendar, in the form of a special Halloween Ghost Bus Tour, running from 4.00pm to 6.00pm on one of the city’s sightseeing buses. The tour costs just £6.00 and is led by one of Lincoln’s historical ghost experts. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a genuinely spooky Halloween experience!
Of course, besides these special events in Lincoln, there is always the great range of seaside towns, historical landmarks and much more that the great county of Lincolnshire has to offer its visitors. And Tattershall Lakes is the perfect place to base yourself as you explore these wonders with your family this half term holiday.
