Big Fish! But you needn’t just stick to our lakes if it’s a fishing break that you’re after. In nearby Tattershall Thorpe is Bain Valley Fisheries, which has 7 man-made lakes made in old quarry pits. Bain Valley Fisheries is open from dawn to dusk, and night fishing options can also be arranged. Once there, you can fish for carp or trout, and the lakes even have good access for disabled anglers.

If it’s the natural thing you’re after, then River Bain itself is literally swimming with countless fish, including chub, bream, roach, rudd, trout, pike, eel and many more. Why not take up your rods and explore the river for good fishing spots. Make sure your fishing license is up to date!
