Here are some of Tattershall Lakes’s most commonly asked questions. If you feel that none of the below answer your questions please use the search bar or alternatively you can contact us and we will get back to you soon as possible.
In line with government advice, we are required to capture the information of everyone that will be visiting park including private sublets. This is to aid the government Test & Trace service, and for your own safety.

Activities can be booked in advance during peak times on our online system (Sandy Balls, Tattershall Lakes and Whitecliff Bay only).
Please be aware, whilst our facilities are open at reduced capacity due to government restrictions, bookable sessions will subsequently operate on a limited capacity to comply with social distancing measures and therefore, availability is not guaranteed.
If you have booked privately at Tattershall Lakes, Sandy Balls or Whitecliff Bay, you can book activities online below. Please use your pitch number and road name as the booking reference.
The Away Resorts App is for exclusive use of Away Resorts guests only.
Unfortunately at this time, our facilities are only open to our guests and owners.

Yes – every individual wishing to enter the space within the Lakeside Lido needs a booking slot; this allows us to control capacity at all times for social distancing measures to be adhered to.
Unfortunately we are not currently doing table service outside, only app orders for food only – which only direct bookers can access. If you are a private booker, you can sit inside and eat or order takeaway for collection at Propeller and eat outside.
Once you are on park, you will see signage that guides where you can and can not go with your dog. Dogs are not allowed in our adventure playground, sports court, beach or Lakeside Lido.
Dogs are allowed in the lower area and outside area of the Spitfire Bar.

Our online booking system displays all live availability and slots, you will only be able to book times that are appearing on the system for your group.
These facilities operate on a first come, first served basis. They do not operate on a booking system.

|The Spitfire Bar||✔||We are OPEN! Tables will be available on a first come, first serve basis. At this time, we can only offer table service; so, once you’re seated, sit back, relax and we'll come to you! For your own safety, please ensure there are no more than 2 households at a table at any one time and a minimum of 1m social distancing is being adhered to at all times.|
|Propeller Bar & Kitchen||✔||We are OPEN! Table bookings can be made here. A £5 per person deposit will be taken at time of booking, which will be redeemable against your bill. Bookings will be held for 10 minutes, after which we will release your table for another guest. Each booking will be allocated a two-hour slot. Walk-ins will be accepted however booking in advance is advised as we are operating at a limited capacity. If you have a booking, please make your way to the front of the queue with your booking confirmation. At this time, we can only offer table service; so, once you’re seated, sit back, relax and we'll come to you! For your own safety, please ensure there are no more than 2 households at a table at any one time and a minimum of 1m social distancing is being adhered to at all times.|
|✔||Takeaway and delivery option available so you can enjoy a pizza and a beer from your here for our menus. Should you wish to order please call us on 01526 348 816 and we will reserve your time slot or alternatively you can order and pay on our app. If calling, payment will be taken over the phone so please have your payment card ready.|
|Lakeside Lido||✔||Our brand new, beautiful outdoor pool at Tattershall Lakes is now open! Swim sesssions of 1-hour will apply, to ensure you can swim safely and must be booked prior online. We politely request that you arrive at the pool 'swim-ready' however changing room facilities will be available. Our toilets and showers within the facility will also be open. Social distancing must continue to be adhered to in and around the pool.|
|Entertainment||✔||The Spitfire Bar will be hosting entertainment with a difference, with live shows, streamed from another location, kids entertainment and music displayed on the big screen. We will also be hosting character photo spots for the kids to meet Bear, Scratch and Lucy (from a slight distance of course). Keep a lookout mid July for our surprise street theatre making an appearance round park, too!|
|Merlin Complex||✔||The Merlin Complex will be operating at a limited capacity and therefore you may experience queues upon entry. The Merlin Complex includes the arcade, the Spitfire Bar, Propeller Bar & Kitchen, Bar 49 and the outdoor amphitheatre area.
If you have a booking for the Propeller Bar & Kitchen, please make your way to the front of the queue with your booking confirmation. Please refrain from arriving early as capacity is limited and we may not be able to accommodate you prior to your arrival.
|Bar 49||✔||We are OPEN! Tables will be available on a first come, first serve basis. For your own safety, please ensure there are no more than 2 households at a table at any one time and a minimum of 1m social distancing is being adhered to at all times.|
|Giggling Goose||✔||We are excited to announce that our brand new adult only bar and lounge, the Giggling Goose is now open for business!
Take flight and join us between 10am – 10pm daily to enjoy delicious cocktails and explore our new luxury venue with a few hidden surprises!
We kindly ask that you continue to be patient with our teams as we are operating on a first come, first served basis and due to COVID restrictions there is a limited capacity in this venue.
|Indoor Swimming Pool & Splash Zone||✔||Our lovely indoor pool and splash zone, Aqua PLAY is now open! Swim sessions must be booked prior online here. All sessions will be 1-hour. You will have a 15-minute grace period to arrive for your session before it made available to other guests. We politely request that you arrive at the pool 'swim-ready' however changing room facilities will be available. Our toilets and showers within the facility will also be open. Social distancing must continue to be adhered to in and around the pool.
|Outdoor Cinema||✔||We have four showings a week currently running on our outdoor cinema screens; Tuesday, Thurday, Friday and Sunday! Our entertainments team will be there to ensure social distancing is being adhered to so you can safely grab a seat and sit with your family. Weather dependant. Please note; we will not be providing blankets at this time to ensure your utmost safety, so please remember to bring your own.|
|The Shop||✔||Our on-site shop remains open for you to be able to get hold of all your everyday essentials. As with other shops at the moment, there are precautions in place and we ask you to adhere to these to ensure the safety of yourselves, other holidaymakers, owners and the park team. You will notice the following measures in place:

|Adventure Playground||✔||Our Adventure Playground is open for you and your family to enjoy. However for your own safety, please ensure you are following Government advice around social distancing.|
|Sports Court||✔||Our Sports Court is open for you and your family to enjoy. However for your own safety, and to keep in line with Government advice please ensure only one household are using the court at any one time.|
|Water Sports||✔||From paddle boarding to wakeboarding, you can enjoy so may activities on the beautiful lakes!Please click here for all prices and a list of activities available.|
|Activities & PLAY||✔||Great news! There are some activities that we feel we can run safely using socially distanced measures. Please note, that these are subject to weather conditions and team members having the correct levels of PPE to run the activities.|
|Pedalos||✔||Enjoy a 15 minute session with your family (up to 4 people) The pedalos are cleaned between hire and contactless payment is available.|
|Fishing||✔||Enjoy fishing on our lakes, each boast a plentiful variety of species. You must have a fishing license and also obtain a fishing permit. Fishing permits can be obtained through Sportsbooker, please refrain from going to Guest Services at this time. For all your fishing equipment and bait, pop to Tom's Tackle - but don’t forget you'll need a form of ID to make purchase, a driving license or passport will be accepted. Please note: Your fishing permit does not include equipment, should you need to hire this - it can be done so at an extra cost.
|Tom's Tackle||✔||Tom's Tackle fishing shop is open, however for your own safety and in line with Government advice, it will operate with a limited capacity and contact-less payment only. Please note you will need a form of ID to hire any equipment, that being a driving license.|
|Cycle Hire||✔||Great news! You can still hire a bike safely from us. Make a reservation on Sportsbooker (this can be accessed online or via our app) and then head to the Bike Hut (next to the Sports Court) when your due to collect them and we’ll help you find the right bikes for you and your family. All bikes are cleaned in between hire and our team all wear correct levels of PPE.|
|The Beach||✔||Please feel free to enjoy the glorious English weather on our little beach, ensuring social distancing guidelines are being adhered to at all times.|
|Crazy Golf||✔||Great news! You can play a game of crazy golf safely with your family. Please note that all clubs and balls are cleaned in between hire by team members wearing correct levels of PPE.|
|Arcade||✔||Our Arcade is open for you and your family to enjoy, however due to its location, access at times may be restricted due to us safely limiting numbers in the venue. When you do use it, your own safety, please use our sanitising stations available and ensure you are following Government advice around social distancing.|
|Outdoor Splash Pad||✔||Our outdoor splash pad is now open! Social distancing must continue to be adhered to.|
|Snack Shacks||✔||At selected times, we will have our snack shops open serving lite bites and refreshments. Please note, we are currently only accepting contactless payments.|
|High Ropes Course||✔||We are OPEN! We will have social distancing and safety measures in place.|

We’re able to offer pet friendly units to guests wishing to bring their dogs, and charge from £30 per short break (5 nights and under) and £50 per long break (6 nights or more), per dog. You are also welcome to bring your dog touring & camping, £2 per dog, per night at Tattershall Lakes and Whitecliff Bay.

Yes you can hire a highchair for £12 during your online booking.
Yes you can hire a travel cot for £15 and add it to your online booking. Please note cot linen is not provided as most parents prefer to bring their own.
This will depend on the accommodation but caravans can usually only fit travel cots in the lounge area. Lodges can fit travel cots in the double bedroom but can be very tight though they can be placed in the twin bedroom but a bed will have to be removed. Please call 0330 053 7000 to find out more about fitting a travel cot in your accommodation type and arranging them to be fitted.
Yes, our facilities are heated and maintained to a high standard.
Yes, our facilities are open 24 hours per day. They are regularly cleaned throughout this period by our team on site who follow strict cleaning guidelines and procedures.
All facilities require an excess charge excluding the swimming pool, sauna and steam room, access to the bar and restaurant, adventure playground, splash pad, entertainment every night which are all included within your guest passes and holiday price when booking directly with Away Resorts. Private guests will require guest passes to access the facilities.
The beach water is 0.5 metres deep.

You must purchase a fishing ticket online before you hook, line and sinker.
You will also require a UK Rod License and a fishing pass to fish on park. Please note, fishing passes do not include rod hire. Fishing passes can be purchased online in advance here. Further information on fishing can be found here.

Unfortunately due healthy and safety regulations; at no point should you or your group/party/children swim in the lakes.
We do have a hoist in our Tattershall Lakes pool – we require 30 minutes notice if the hoist is required.
We have WiFi hotspots at Tattershall Lakes, Whitecliff Bay, Mersea Island and Barmouth Bay.
WiFi is limited at Sandy Balls and Mill Rythe where WiFi is only available in the complex (or Village Square at Sandy Balls.)
There is a free WiFi option which offers unlimited data but limited speed which you can connect as many devices as you want to it. Due to the limited speed, this is better used for casual internet browsing, Facebook and Twitter and checking emails. It is not recommended for HD video streaming, video games and downloading of large files.
We also offer a Premium WiFi option (excluding Sandy Balls & Mill Rythe) which boasts higher speeds. The options are:
To connect to the park WiFi, simply log into the Guest Network and following the on-screen prompts to register your device. If any troubles with connecting please check with the park’s reception who will be more than happy to assist.
We’re excited to announce that Sandy Balls, Tattershall Lakes & Whitecliff Bay is still be able to offer activities and entertainment – with a few added precautions of course.
Instead of live performances, The Woodside Suite will be hosting live shows streamed from another location, kids entertainment and music. Not to mention our Outdoor Cinema showing will be running two showings a week too!
Our team have also been trained in hosting activities in a way where we can remain covid-safe and still have plenty of fun – with favourites returning such as target archery, crazy carts and more!
Guests Passes are included in the cost of your holiday when booking directly with us. This provides access to the selected park facilities, entertainment*, experiences and more. We charge for certain activities as we want you to have the very best experience and by paying a little, we can enhance activities a lot!
For those who book with third parties, guest passes can be purchased at the park’s reception. Prices are dependent on duration and time of year:

These prices are for the caravan party, not per person.
There are two ways to book a holiday. You can either book online via our website or alternatively you can call us on 0330 053 7000.
Any day arrivals are NOW available ALL YEAR! Yes, that’s peak dates too. Arrive when you want and leave when you want. All we ask is that you stay for a minimum of 2 nights, but apart from that, you can stay as long or as short as you like.
Along with your accommodation, Guest Passes are all included in the break’s price and provides everyone in your party full use of our on-park facilities and evening entertainment (where available)! Certain activities and services may also carry additional charges. Please note, at this time we cannot guarantee access to all facilities even with passes due to social distancing and safety assurances.

The nearest station is Metheringham. From here you just need to jump on a number 5 bus to Boston which stops in Tattershall town, about 10 minutes walk from the park.
