Golden rules for Yorkshire dog-friendly holidays
When bringing along your dog, all we ask is that you follow our dog-friendly holiday park golden rules:
- Keep your dog(s) tethered at all times. We know it’s hard to believe, but not everybody likes dogs, so we must respect that.Â
- Pick up their poop. Poop bags are available at all our parks, so no need to worry if you run out!Â
- Dogs are not to be left in accommodation unattended for any reason.Â
Please note that there are some restrictions on doggy access to certain facilities due to hygiene. However, these restrictions are not applicable to assistance dogs.

Are the beaches in Yorkshire dog-friendly?
While some beaches in Yorkshire have seasonal restrictions for dog access, there are many that allow furry friends to frolic in the sands all year round. Some of the most popular include Hunmanby Gap, Fraisthorpe Beach, and Runswick Bay. Just make sure to bring a towel to dry off those soggy paws!
What types of dog-friendly accommodations are available in Yorkshire?

Are dogs allowed in all areas of the holiday park?
While most areas are dog-friendly, there are some restrictions in place for hygiene and safety reasons (yes, that means no pooches in the pools or hot tubs, no matter how big those puppy dog eyes are). Dogs will need to be kept on leads in certain areas and can’t be left unattended in the accommodation, but aside from that, they’re free to have a wonderfully waggy time.
How much does a Yorkshire dog-friendly holiday cost?
The cost of your holiday will vary depending on the holiday park, accommodation, and add-ons you opt for. However, there is an additional charge to bring along your dog, which is usually £45 per short break (6 nights or under) or £60 for a longer break (7 nights or more).Â
